Hi! My name is Marek Fronc

I'm a blogger, photographer, and English instructor and translator.
I divide my time between Poland and the Middle East. I've spent six years in Bahrain, and graduated from Middle East Studies at Jagiellonian University, Kraków. I'm a curious cat, and mostly interested in the socio-politics of the region.
I take photos of landscapes and cities. I focus on sights of the ordinary, and try and capture them in a way that is pleasant to the eye.
I also write two blogs about the Middle East (in Polish and English), and Poland in Arabic. In the sensationalised era of social media, it's important we have a space to cool our heads with some solid information.
